We have been talking about this for a long time. Safety is one of the most underrated yet, the most important aspect of any workplace.
International Labour Organization (ILO) has declared 28th April as the World Day for Safety and Health to create more awareness about the occupational hazards at the workplace and promote strategies and tools and techniques to prevent these occupational hazards.
One must realize that safety comes first. Manpower is the asset in possession of any organization and protecting the assets is key in order to achieve success and better revenues. Being safe is a very profound feeling that can help the organization in getting the best out of the labor force.
Encompassing safety measures at the workplace will create a more holistic and better operating environment for the organization under which the organization can nourish their goals and work culture to achieve the unexplored.
On this World Day for Safety and Health, let us take a pledge to create a better and safe environment and work consistently towards it to secure our future from mishaps and accidents and move ahead together to achieve safety and better health standards at the workplaces!
