Faber Infinite has been associated with one of the leading automobile component manufacturing company for the past one year and has delivered excellent results over the period of time. The client initiated Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) back in the year 2003 and has continued it since then. Team Faber got associated with the organization last year and has then helped the organization in thrusting up the numbers and objectifying the operating environment for optimum results.

We understand TPM and its pillars have been adding value to organizations by working towards Zero defects, Zero accidents and Zero breakdowns. However, with TPM approach the improvements are local and in the larger organization wide improvements are missed out.

We initiated a new program at the manufacturing sites of the client called Value Stream Mapping (VSM). Through this, we have helped the client in achieving tremendous results in a short span of a year. The impacts have been so fulfilling, that the client who has been practicing TPM for more than a decade, surpassed its own benchmark in this very short time span.

Whilst achieving this part of excellence, we have also helped the client in creating a Manufacturing Excellence Roadmap for the next 3 years and in various other aspects of manufacturing like inventory management, manpower productivity and much more.

Results delivered

  • We helped the client improve the throughput time by more than 23 percent in the span of a year.
  • Inventory was reduced by around 33 percent as a result of the efforts by Team Faber Infinite.
  • Manpower productivity was increased by more than 19 percent after the involvement of Faber Infinite Consulting team.
  • Order rejection rate was also reduced by more than 12 percent.
