In any organization, there are frontrunners who help to accelerate the organization’s efforts by defining, analysing and finding the best opportunities to grow and eventually help them to grab it. Similarly, they also lead to find mutual benefits for all stakeholders involved and make it a win-win situation for all.  In this edition of iFaber, we bring to you the experience of one such frontrunner at Faber Infinite – Ms. Jui Shah, who leads the pre-sales function. She has helped build mutually beneficial relationship between Faber Infinite Consulting and many clients across industries and geographies. Below is an excerpt of our conversation with Ms. Shah, Business Analyst at Faber Infinite Consulting.

Faber Infinite (FI): What is your role at Faber Infinite Creative Solutions (FICS)? What three words would you use to describe your role?

Jui Shah (JS): At Faber Infinite, as a Business Analyst, I lead the Pre-Sales function. My role is to identify prospects and clients where Faber Infinite’s solutions can add tremendous value to their businesses and in turn generate business opportunities for Faber Infinite through market research and analytics. Even though stationed at one location, I work across boundaries. Along with it that, I help the business creation team with insights and details to put across our credentials and value created, for building the confidence in client minds.

If I want to describe my role in three words, that would be innovation, attention to detail & perfectionism. You should have innovative and creative ideas for generating and approaching the prospects and not just create those ideas but should also be able to implement them. One needs to be attentive by developing listening skills, communication skills and should be nimble to act. One needs to be sure of the data of the prospect. It must be precise before we approach them.

FI: What does a typical day look like for you at Faber Infinite?

JS: Normally, my day at Faber starts with ideal daily planning for accomplishing my targets. It includes brainstorming about the correct prospects and right solutions which will add exponential value to their businesses. Simultaneously, I work closely with the sales team to encapsulate clients requirements and prepare value propositions to follow the process. It requires good productive hours of work with meticulous planning for each day.

FI: What is most rewarding about your job; what makes it all worthwhile?

JS: The whole process, right from finding the correct prospect to finally closing the deal is the most rewarding thing about my job. Talking of which I would like to share one of my experiences, where I identified one such organization in a sector we had been trying hard to step-in and with the help of the entire pre-sales and sales team, we finally cracked the deal for one more transformation journey. Hence, through this we now have a new region added in our territory and this is one of the examples which makes this whole effort worthwhile. And for all my efforts and success, I was awarded by the management team at Faber Infinite for entering new regions and opening doors of our organisation to new territories.

FI: What would be your personal mantra?

JS: My personal mantra is to be positive in any and every given situation. Being positive and having faith in oneself will get you all that you desire. One should never give up. Positive approach with resilience and hard work will give exceptional results.

FI: What is on your wish list for your next five years at Faber Infinite?

JS: In next five years, I wish to create and lead a bigger team of business analyst and pre-sales members, with the proper guidance of my mentors. I wish to take Faber to more unexplored geographies and sectors. I desire to build a very strong pre-sales team, which can reach out more clients where we can add value to their businesses and in turn fetch more business for Faber Infinite.

FI: What are your biggest professional challenges?

JS: I consider challenge as an opportunity to learn more, stretch yourself more and show your best! An opportunity to show your confidence and keep working, by having faith on your intuitions. One of my professional challenges is to find and reach out to the right point of contact from the targeted sector, through authentic data source. In today’s era, it is easy to get data but it is imperative to find authenticate data source that can help to achieve results.

FI: If you could change one thing about working here, what would it be?

JS: To be very honest “Nothing”. Everything for me is just perfect and fine. It is the way I want it to be. The opportunities I am exposed to are the best and which I doubt I would have got at any other place. Hence, I would not like to change anything.

FI: How has Faber Infinite helped you in your career development?

JS: Faber Infinite has been the foundation of my professional career. Faber is not only crafting the growth opportunities for clients, but is also helping its team members by providing the right career growth opportunities. Faber Infinite has helped me develop the required skill set which is why it is the foundation of my career.

FI: What do you like most about team Faber?

JS: The Culture. The culture that we have at our organisation is just perfect. There is a healthy peer competition. We help each other grow. The management at Faber Infinite is very supportive and they work towards empowering the team. They believe in making leaders. And I can say, that it is very difficult to find such a culture at any other organisation.

Thank you, Faber Jui Shah, for sharing these wonderful and encouraging details about you and your life at Faber. We wish you luck for all your future assignments.
