Team Faber Infinite has been instrumental in implementing standards not only at different client sites across geographies but at our own offices as well and working towards making our offices SMART.
Sharing glimpses of a few standards implemented at our offices.
At our office in Pune, India, we have implemented – Availability Matrix. This matrix is a people-oriented matrix, as consultants are mostly onsite helping clients craft growth opportunities. There are times when team members from other functions want to collaborate with the consulting team.
This matrix lets you know the availability of the consultant so that you can assign them the task for which you are accountable and can thus match the deadline. It helps reduce excessive discussion loops amongst the team regarding work allocation.
At another office in Ahmedabad, India, we have implemented Daily Work Management (DWM). DWM is the framework that provides the ability to manage departments, functions, and processes, wherein processes are defined, standardized, controlled, and improved by the process owners. It ensures that daily jobs and objectives are accomplished strictly on daily basis with a perfect control system built in!
At another office in Vadodara, India, we have implemented Kanban. Kanban is basically implemented for inventory management.
Kanban has helped in knowing the quantity of inventory available and used. Similarly, optimum levels can be maintained to avoid over and understocking of inventories.
It has also helped in the easy sorting of the inventory and setting the right replenishment model, where we follow PFEP (Plan For Every Part) methodology!
