As a part of our Infinite Interview series, we are delighted to share our chat with Mr. Nand Kishore Chaudhary – Chairman & Managing Director at Jaipur Rugs.
Jaipur Rugs Foundation is best example of connecting the poorest of the poor with the richest of the rich by enhancing capabilities at the grassroots. It is a pleasure to chat with this globally acclaimed social entrepreneur, who is one of India’s largest manufacturers of hand knotted rugs and is often referred to as ‘Gandhi of the Carpet Industry’.
A few takeaways from the chat below –
- Heart to heart connection with the employees is the key
- The thought that I know everything, hinders the success of any individual. So Mr. Chaudhary started this initiative of the Higher School of Unlearning
- Self-management starts with self-awareness
- Be yourself
- Go deeper into your passion and core. The deeper you go, it is harder for your global competitors to cope
- Do not convert passion into fever. Convert your passion into compassion
- Be patient with your passion
