Yet again, Faber Infinite in association with CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) conducted a training workshop on “Material Handling and Inventory Management – Tools for Efficient Output & Cost Control” at Vadodara in July, 2015. The key purpose of the workshop was to learn effectively and efficiently the tools for cost management as well as Material handling and Inventory Management.
Objectives of the Program:
– Understanding the basic concepts of material handling and inventory management
– To establish key aspects of Lean framework
– To determine the drivers for high efficiency and productivity
– To establish the framework for inventories by different models of Inventory Management.
– To understand the process of Kanban Implementation
Participants from eminent organizations like Apollo Tyres, Piramal Glass and others from in and around Vadodara participated in the workshop. The participants were from the different sectors and segments. The workshop was received well due to its interactive approach and delivery methodology. The simulation exercise via ‘The Plug Factory’ created by team Faber Infinite made the session extremely interesting and lived the Faber philosophy of ‘learning by doing’.
