Reducing waste, implementing efficiency-promoting practices and continuously improving manufacturing operations are the main goals of any manufacturing organization.

Similarly, innovation of new technology is a new trend in most of the manufacturing firms. But to facilitate innovation, it takes a change of mindset in the organization. This is a cultural and organizational issue and is difficult to accomplish.

However, for most of us, innovation doesn’t come naturally. Factory managers are no different, and that’s normal. You can still create an edge by embracing a culture of experimentation, identifying the areas of greatest need, and then leaning on employees with experience to teach others.
