What is culture? A simple definition is “the way we do things around here”. If you want a more complex definition that, in essence, means the same thing, you can define it as “The values and behaviours that contribute to the unique social and psychological environment of an organization”.

Culture is not made out of products but it is made out of people. It is the people who actually make organisational culture valuable. It is upto organisation how they want to promote improvement oriented culture within organisation. Focus is now shifting from reducing costs to maximising values.
