The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Tata Memorial Hospital, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, National Institute of Advanced Sciences, and National Centre for the Performing Arts, all models of excellence in their respective fields, would not have been realized without JRD’s unwavering support.
JRD was a quiet and introverted man, despite his public appearance. He never sought honors, yet he was showered with them, much to his chagrin.
