Persistence and never giving up are essential qualities for anyone pursuing goals and dreams. We face numerous challenges on a daily basis, which is why it is critical to learn how to be determined in our lives.

There have been several unsung heroes who have accomplished incredible things via their sheer resolve, powers, skills, and so much more. These people never lost hope in themselves and fought relentlessly to make their ambitions a reality. Getting what you want isn’t always easy; you have to put in a lot of effort to go where you want to go.

This Transformation Tuesday, sharing a couple of such stories of Unheard Heroes of India.

One of them is Shri Gandhara Tilak Katnam from India – the road doctor from Hyderabad. In his backseat, this man keeps a bag of mixed gravel to patch potholes wherever he sees them. Gangadhara Tilak Katnam is a retired employee of Railway. He guaranteed to take matters into his own hands after noticing that the government was paying little attention to the number of potholes on Hyderabad’s roads. He is a man on a mission to repair all of Hyderabad’s potholes so that people can commute safely. He’s repaired 1,125 potholes on Hyderabad’s roadways thus far.

Another example of such a change maker is Shri Daripalli Ramaiah, an Indian social worker noted for his social forestry projects. He is also known as Chetla (trees) Ramaiah and Vanajeevi (forest being) Ramaiah. For his essential contribution to increasing forest cover, he was awarded the Padma Shri award in 2017. Rather than lecturing on the benefits, Ramaiah put the famous saying “Plant a tree and save a life” into action. Locals know him as a man who carries seeds in his pockets and rides his bicycle for miles while carrying an overabundance of saplings. He understands the need of planting trees to safeguard our ecosystem and plants saplings in every barren place he passes.

There could be plenty of such change leaders around us who took up the matters in their own hands. A lot of parallels can be drawn in our corporate worlds as well to build a motivated ecosystem with all inspiring stakeholders.

Motivation management is thus a vital component of business success; with increased productivity, a firm can attain higher levels of production. Motivated employees, according to research, will: always strive for a “better” approach to execute a task.

The inner state of mind that originates and governs action toward business goals is referred to as motivation. They are tailored to meet the demands of individuals. Understanding the needs of employees and identifying their real reasons is the process of motivating them to take action.

How motivation can save your organization?

The importance of motivation in a company cannot be overstated. It’s a straightforward procedure that necessitates an understanding of human psychological behavior. Such an understanding and right action, so igniting an employee’s motives, aids in launching and maintaining activity, as well as greatly assisting in the achievement of corporate goals.

More crucially, because motivation is not a constant state of mind, it is a variable that can be altered. Managers that have the ability to impact motivation can help their employees perform better.

We already know that motivation is highly personal, and what motivates one employee may not motivate another. Hence, it is much more essential for a manager to comprehend how to encourage an employee to create when workplace components, such as job design and work environment, are combined with organizational components, such as business culture and workplace politics.

Motivation is what any organization needs these days to get work done, achieve the greatest potential results, and achieve the top position.
